In Oscar Bianchi&#8217;s Ballerina, the guitar is stripped down to its rawest essence &#8211; a series of gritty sounds that evokes echoes of psychedelic rock and the expressiveness of distortion. Eveline Vervliet goes a step further: her new work uses the guitar as input for an AI tool she built herself, which generates sounds based on a database full of guitar fragments. from pop history.
