How can arts education be a place where everyone feels welcome? As a teacher, artist, or policymaker, how do you address the diverse backgrounds, needs, and abilities of students? During WEERKLANK LABO, MATRIX – Center for New Music and Music Center De Bijloke will focus on inclusion as a driving force for artistic and pedagogical innovation.
WEERKLANK-LABO is an initiative of MATRIX and brings together teachers, artists, educators, and policymakers around current themes in music and arts education, with a focus on social engagement and innovation. This edition is presented in collaboration with Muziekcentrum De Bijloke.
This lab is aimed at teachers in part-time arts education, policymakers, artists, students, and anyone actively involved in inclusive music education.
