Alan T. for 1 female singer, 1 actor, 5 musicians and audiovisual apparatus retraces the exceptional trajectory of Alan Turing, an emblematic figure of the 20th century and the subject of Pierre Jodlowski’s music theater, to the libretto by Frank Witzel. Turing was an unsung hero of the Second World War, a genius mathematician and cryptographer, a father of artificial intelligence and yet ultimately a casualty of the puritanical England of his time, as a result of his self-confessed homosexuality.
